Opened in 1993 from an Isao Katsumata-designed concept, Sawang Resort Golf Club provides a good test for players of all levels. This Hua Hin golf course also incorporates a large clubhouse, a hotel and a number of condos and sits in perfect harmony with its surrounding valley - Phetchaburi's rolling hills. Water makes up more than a fair share of the courses hazards and on the par-4 17th players have to contend with water left and right guarding the approach to the green.
Sawang Resort Golf & Country Club Hua Hin has a very natural feel to it with a mixture of both water and trees - lined holes. It is generally quite an open course that appeals to all standards of player while also offering the lower handicapper the opportunity for some "High risk shot".
